About Our Lashes

With our business formerly being known as “Stellar Lash”, we pride ourselves greatly on our lash services here at Stellar Aesthetics. Each artist will work with you individually to find the specific style and type of lashes that is best for you and your preference. We offer two different types of Lash Extensions “PreMade” and “Handmade”. PreMade lash extensions are when the lash fans come pre-glued. Handmade lash extensions are when the lash artist takes individual lashes and forms the fan themselves before applying the fan to your natural lash.

Here at Stellar Aesthetics we use synthetic mink eyelashes for all PreMade lash extension services. We use synthetic mink because they eliminate the risk of irritation, allergies, and infection that occurs with traditional mink eyelashes, while still achieving that beautiful whispy look that mink lashes have. For Handmade Lash Extensions we use synthetic silk lashes. Synthetic silk also decreases the risk of infection and irritation and gives the most realistic illusion of real eyelashes.

We use Paris Halo Lash Adhesive and Paris Pearl Lash Adhesive on all pre-made lash extension services. For all handmade lash extension services we use Sky lash adhesive. For those with sensitive eyes we carry Lash Savvy Bio Bond Sensitive Lash Adhesive. For those with sensitivity to bandage adhesives we have Nexcare hypoallergenic tape specifically designed for sensitive skin.

PreMade Hybrid Extensions

PreMade Hybrid lashes are for those who like to look natural, but still full! You wake up ready to go! The best candidates for hybrid lash extensions are those with healthy, non-damaged lashes. Hybrid lashes are also great for those who may not have as many natural lashes as most, or as they used to.

Hybrid lashes are when the artist glues multiple false lashes to one of your natural lashes, and then on the next lash applies a classic lash, which is one false lash to each natural lash. This group of false lashes is called a “fan”. It’s called a “fan” because the false lashes are all glued together at the base, and then at the ends they fan out. Giving that very wispy look. The Hybrid style is in between the volume and classic styles. What makes this service “PreMade” instead of “Handmade” is that the individual fans come pre-glued, meaning the artist does not make each individual fan themselves like they do with Handmade Lashes.

Handmade Eyelash Extensions

Handmade Eyelash Extensions are when the lash artist takes individual false lashes and forms the fan themselves before applying the fan to your natural lash.

Handmade Lash Extensions are a very meticulous and detailed craft. Mastering this technique takes dedication and a lot of practice. This is considered an advanced skill in the world of aesthetics. Handmade lash extensions give the artist the ability to gently wrap the fan around your natural lash resulting in longer lash retention. Another advantage to this technique is that it allows for much more customization for each individual client.
